Happy 20th, Boss!! Some of my favorite years working in comics were thanks to you. The Secret History of BLACK CROWN looms large. And soon! Here’s to 20 more years (and 20 Guinness pints /beers)! Viva comics!
Thanks for sharing about Tom Luth. I would have not heard about his passing as he’d mostly retired from work. A true great. It’s amazing how his art seamlessly added to Sergio’s work helping your eye follow the flow of the page.
I was always amazed by what he did with Sergio's pages. I can't imagine how daunting every single page was but he said he loved it. The new colorist Carrie is also doing really nice work on Groo but Tom's stuff still stands out to me as the perfect fit for Sergio's wild pages.
Hey Chris - Thanks for the shout out, I'm so happy you enjoyed the footage of R Pal's birthday! Like you, I miss his growl as he called about something or other that had his attention. I had lunch with Nat the other day and we were both full of memories, and thankful that Harlan's work is once again being tossed into the world to sustain his legacy. Your remembrance contributes to that and we've got to keep it up!! Cheers, my friend.

If anything it’s more daunting for Carrie. Looking at Sergio’s pages and following Tom’s work!
Happy 20! You have really made your mark!

Awww, wish I could've joined for that lunch! Thanks, Steve.
We'll keep you in mind for the next time. ;-)
