Fite n' Madd were in Young Justice, which was also the series where he wanted to call a character Sex Kitten. but was told no. He called her Mighty Endowed instead, and *that* was okay!
Thanks! I thought I'd updated the newsletter with the Young Justice info but maybe it didn't go through. I... completely forgot about Mighty Endowed and that was probably for the best!
Chris, thanks for your very heartfelt commemoration of Peter's work. Speaking of his love of puns and silly things in general, I remember a sound effect he once used (I believe in the Hulk comic) that at first glace just looked like any other SFX for Hulk punching someone, but upon closer inspection read RACKOFLAMB!
The only time I remember meeting PAD in person was at a massive IDW signing at Comicon, I think 04. Niles, Wood, Templesmith... and PAD was holding court ... with his name plate taped to his forehead. Ah!
Holding court was one of his many strengths... it was always a bit dubious to have him as one of many panelists because PAD being on the panel meant very little chance for anyone else to get a word in. But his words were usually very fun and engaging, if challening to moderate.
Terrific remembrance, Chris.

2004 would've been my first panel at IDW. Definitely my first con as IDW's EiC, anyway.
